When you purchase a grill from Fireside, you receive a lot of benefits that are not always seen. We have had the opportunity to sell most every grill brand available because of the number of years we have sold and serviced grills. We also provide full warranty and service support. As you might guess, there are dramatic differences in grill operation, performance and reliability. A gas grill, or a “Kamado” style charcoal grill; what are the advantages and disadvantages of both? Therefore, we spend a lot of time analyzing and testing grills to insure that we can help you select the best possible models for your needs.
Additionally, we thoroughly test those that we sell to insure that we can tell you about the details of their operating characteristics. We also provide regular grilling demonstrations on many Saturdays to help you use your grill and have more fun grilling. Additionally, we specialize in built-in grills and their accessories, whether we provide the built in island, or the island is built by a mason. We also have an extensive selection of dry rubs, sauces and grilling accessories to make grilling even more enjoyable.
There are two basic kinds of grilling processes and many different grill models to choose from at Fireside. Which grill is right for you? 1. Direct grilling is cooking relatively quickly over the direct heat from the grill. 2. Convective grilling is cooking indirectly at lower temperatures and for longer periods. All grills can do both kinds of grilling, but some models are much better at direct grilling than convective grilling and visa versa. Additionally, charcoal grilling using one of the “Kamado” style, charcoal grills will result in some of the most amazing food that you have ever eaten. One of the most important things we do is to help customers decide which type of grilling and which grill is best for them.
Buying a North American made grill is more than a patriotic “balance of payments” issue. Most of the “big box” store stainless grills are made in China. China manufactures some impressive products. Many of the Chinese grills however, are made with thin, dentable stainless and can be very difficult to obtain replacement parts for should anything fail. They quickly become landfill items if they are used regularly. American made grills are more expensive, but they are usually made of more durable materials and they have readily available replacement parts. Fireside provides full warranty and service support for every appliance we sell. We could easily sell inexpensive Chinese grills. But, our service personnel would not be able to provide warranty support and regular service that our customers expect.
