Fireside has specialized in doing business with contractors and home builders here in Central Oregon for more than 20 years. We have several people on our staff that specialize in working with contractors, home builders and their home designers or architects.

Unlike most HVAC businesses and other retail stores, our Fireside personnel have significant fireplace factory training and experience. Additionally, they are some of the few personnel in Oregon certified by the National Fireplace Institute and by the Oregon State Fire Marshall's office for propane appliances (#000641-05). Fireside’s management has also been a licensed Oregon contractor for many years (#67586).

Our fireplace industry has two categories of fireplaces, commodity and quality. The commodity fireplaces are available from many sources and allow the home owner to say, “yes, the house has a fireplace” and little else. Typical commodity fireplaces come from Majestic, Heatilator, Lennox, Heat-N-Glo, Monessen and others. These brands are now beginning to develop and somewhat better fireplaces to try to compete with quality brands like Fireplace Xtrordinair.

Quality fireplaces are only available from specific retailers that have invested in the installation and service departments and significant retail displays to demonstrate their many features and benefits.

We specialize in quality fireplaces. These are the industry leading products that you don’t normally see at HVAC operations and other retail businesses. Plus, we also have very competitive prices on commodity fireplaces and can usually match the quotes that you might receive from Portland fireplace distributors. Our showrooms in our two stores have large selections of quality fireplaces that are designed to provide the features and benefits expected in nicer, custom homes.
